Month of the Serpent
* During the Topaz Championship, Doji Aikiko, Master of Water and returned daughter of Isawa, is revealed as Master of the Gozoku conspiracy. She is executed by her husband, Clan Champion of the Crane, who subsequently commits sepukku.
* Doji Domotai takes the Championship of the Crane Clan and the Daimyoship of the Doji from her father.
* Asako Bairei becomes the new Master of Water.

Month of the Goat
* The War of Fire and Thunder comes to a close after the Dark Wave come to the battle and the Phoenix and Mantis forces are forced to unite to defeat them. The Phoenix surrender control of their shipping lanes and a new island created by the Master of Earth to Mantis control.
* Yoritomo Naizen ascends to Mantis Champion and Yoritomo Daimyo after Yoritomo Kumiko died in battle.
* Isakwa Sachi, Master of Earth, is slain in the final battle, replaced by Isawa Emori.

Month of the Tiger
*In a misunderstanding between Dragon and Crane, the Harriers and their use of gaijin pepper are exposed. Horrified, Doji Domotai disbands the organization.

Month of the Boar
* A legion of Shiba stages an attack on the City of Tears. Much of the Empire is at a loss as to why.
* The Glorious Emperor Toturi III, the Emerald Champion (Yasuki Hachi), and many other heroes fall at the Tomb of Seven Thunders.

Month of the Rat
* Moto Chagatai personally leads his armies in a full-scale march towards Toshi Ranbo wo Shien Shite Reigisaho. Although his forces are attacked by Lion armies under Matsu Yoshino and Ikoma Otemi, the Khan still manages to conquer Shiranai Toshi and Kyuden Ikoma.

Month of the Ox
* Kyuden Ikoma falls to the Unicorn, razed and looted by the Khan's armies

Month of the Hare
* Yoritomo is admitted to Court of Tengoku as a voice for the Mantis

Month of the Dragon
* Asahina Sekawa vacates the positions of Jade Champion, Keeper of the Five Rings and Asahina family daimyo.
* The Khan kills the Shogun in the aftermath of the Battle of Toshi Ranbo
* The War of Silk and Steel ends. The Harriers are officially disbanded.
* The Toturi Dynasty ends with the jigai of Toturi Kurako, Empress.
* The Phoenix, in an attempt to save Toshi Ranbo, summon the Fire Dragon to protect the city. The Unicorn withdraw.

Month of the Goat
* In an upset that causes murmurs of scandal Empire-wide, Shosuro Jimen take the position of Emerald Champion.

Month of the Dog
* In a much less surprising tournament, Kuni Daigo takes the title of Jade Champion. He immediately begins a crusade to gather Jade, much to the dismay of the Crane Clan, who's artwork supplies much of it.

Month of the Horse
* Hida Yakamo is cast down and the Jade Dragon becomes the Sun.
* Hitomi is cast down and the Obsidian Dragon becomes the Moon.

Month of the Goat
* The Kami Togashi is recalled to Tengoku, thus freeing the Dragon Clan to take a much greater part in events soon to come.

Month of the Monkey
* The Spider Clan unleash the Night of Assassins upon Rokugan, for which the Scorpion Clan takes the weight of the blame due to their minimal losses. Only the Unicorn Clan loses no one except Ide Tang, who is exposed as a Scorpion Spy and quartered by the order of the Khan.

Month of the Rooster
*The secret Kolat stronghold, the Hidden Temple, is assaulted by Scorpion forces, resulting in the death of several Masters and the theft of the Oni's Eye.

Month of the Dog
* A great tourney is held upon Seppun Hill under the watchful eyes of the Voices of the Sun and Moon, the outcome of which sees Empress Iweko I, formerly Kitskui Iweko, Daimyo of the Kitsuki family, crowned by Heavenly Decree.
* As one of her first actions, Iweko makes the bearing of the Spider Mon or open affiliation with that 'ronin group' a crime punishable by immediate execution. Despite this, she keeps one of the Spider, Daigotsu Susumu, as Imperial Advisor, though his true affiliation is not made public.
*The Third Yasuki war ends. All Yasuki are Crab and those Crane who bore the name who do not wish to change Clans join the Daidoji.

Month of the Rat
*Hida Tonoji, Commander of the Fourth Imperial Legion, discovers the Northern Towers of Flame destroyed. This attack is the first official battle of the War of Dark Fire.
*The High House of Light, by order of Dragon Champion Mirumoto Kei, is put to the torch to prevent it being used by the invaders.
*Shiro Mirumoto is successfully defended, though at great cost in life.
*The Badger Clan is overrun, leaving the Clan numbering at less than two dozen and their holdings, including the shrine to Ryoshun, utterly destoryed.

Month of the Ox
*Shiro Tamori is destroyed by pyroclastic flow at the command of the Tamori daimyo and his advisor, Tamori Wotan, taking a large force of invaders with it.
*Kyuden Isawa falls to invaders after several weeks of resistance, collapsed by the Master of Earth.
*The Unicorn lose one of their most important growing regions, Bikami City and it's surrounds.

Month of the Tiger
*Kyuden Tonbo is raised but the Dragonfly are not destroyed, largely due to the actions of one of their own, now a Dark Oracle.

Month of the Hare
*Pale Oak Castle is saved by the actions of the Onyx Champion, a former Phoenix.
*Shiru Utaku Shojo comes under attack, defended at the last in a great effort which cost the life of the current Utaku Daimyo. Utaku Yu Pan ascends to that station in her place.
*The Yobanjin break off their assorted sorties and begin a final push toward Toshi Ranbo. In a final battle on the Dragon Heart Plain, a combined force of Phoenix, Crab, Lion, Scorpion and Dragon, aided by the Shogun's forces, put an end to the Son of Fire and the majority of the Yobanjin forces, though stragglers continue to plague the northern lands.
