The shy lil dragon was interesting and in kaito's opinion not bad eye candy fro a lady that likes to sit on rocks. Did she have any opinions of Kaito?

I'm glad you liked her. Tried making a younger and more Dragon-y version of Tomoe Gozen. She was meant to be all about swords, courage and shooting things. Naturally her character did need to be tweaked a bit and further evolved from there. Not sure about her sitting on rocks much! Born sailor without knowing it ^^

Glad you enjoyed her awkardness around men and unintended eye candy moments. I just couldn't see her doing anything else but standing up to bow to you both, even in the baths, as she is quite formal.

She liked Kaito. Found him easy going but not rude - a difficult thing to accomplish for Tomoe as she has high standards. She took to using his first name to originally differentiate him between the other Yoritomos but ended up using it all the time without realising it as she felt he was someone she could relax around. She liked him and Choukichi a bit as they were "nice Mantis" in her mind. Plenty of time in Mantis lands exposed her to the not so nice. Like kind older brothers with helpful advice. She also respected Kaito's interest in combat.

She picked up that he was a fairly normal Crab in many ways - lack of care for social graces, an urge to fight the biggest nasties and protect others, unwavering courage and dedication to duty - in short she liked him for the short time she knew him because he wasn't pretending to be something he wasn't and what he was was effective and principled (in his own way). If that makes sense. She didn't argue with him staying to fight even though she was nearby as she sensed that was his will. The time they were talking she just thought he was easy going and nice to be around. So basically "big strong Crab and a good crewman to have at my back". That was it ^^

She will be surprised to learn she salvaged your wakizashi and that it is cracked, perhaps shocked to find out what that may mean! She'll do her best to get it back to your family properly though!

She never met Seiko so couldn't say. Unless I am forgetting a scene.

I liked Seiko though. I think the two would be quite harmless and innocent together. Perhaps gossiping friends?
