Junpei returned shortly after her, back from his communion with the air kami at the city watchtower. Hands folded in his sleeves he thanked his heimin escort and passed the guards to enter the embassy grounds. He stopped short and turned, looking up at the oddly garbed woman. The mask was familiar and in an effort to cover his surprise, the Phoenix simply said, "Bayushi-san, whatever are you wearing, and why are you wearing it?"

"Mm, in this weather? My only plans were to return here and get settled in Isawa-san. I have no plans of wandering off anywhere." Hoshi said with some lightness in her tone. I think I've had my fill day's fill of gaijin things.

"Wonderful," he lead the other two into the embassy, unaware that anything were truly amiss. Having stepped out early, he'd not been privy to the day's latest gossip. Once he found himself in the embassy halls, however, it took him a moment to remember where a proper tea room was. Standing in place he pondered the matter for a moment.

(Calling a momentary hiatus for me. I have another thread that may impact this thread...a big sorry for that one. If you two want to continue on by asking a servant for a tea room and whatnot, I can jump back in later without much fuss.)
