The fog still ruled the streets. Training, bathing, eating....unless he planned to spend the day with a good book, Nobuyoshi had pretty much reached the limit of what the embassy had to offer.

Except for one thing.

Maybe she'd be here, maybe she'd still be out in the fog, still, it beat staring at the walls all day, so Nobuyoshi set out to ask about after Yoritomo Keiko.

He found Keiko in the main hall, arguing quietly with the other Yoritomo he'd met at the Jade Sun. Mamoru glances up as the Scorpion approaches and glares at the man. The young woman, following her brother's gaze, turns. She blushes faintly as she self-consciously smooths down the yukata she wore. A faint smile tugs at her lips before it falls as Mamoru addresses the man with false cheer, "Bayushi-sama... so kind of you to find time to spend with Keiko-chan... I'll be happy to chaperone of course."

He keeps smiling even as his sister trod on his foot. By Jigoku, he wasn't going to let Keiko out of his sight with a... a SCORPION.

He bows politely to them both.

"Yoritomo-sans. " he begins pleasantly enough. "How fortunate that we've all finished our duties for the afternoon, so you can show me the various sights of the garden."

Addressing the chaperone, "How kind of you to ensure that your sister and my honor are both beyond reproach and hurtful rumor." A minor point including his own honor in the Mantis's duties, but one that could perhaps irk the man a little.


Turning to Keiko, as that's who he's meeting and expects said chaperone to be background he says, "Your yukata looks quite beautiful, Yoritomo-san."

"Oh, I'm all too happy to," Mamoru replies, glaring daggers at the man even as his little sister tread on his foot a little harder. It only let up at Nobuyoshi's comment.

A pleased smile curves her lips even as she ducks her head. "It's very kind of you to say Bayushi-san, though I'm sure it doesn't compare to the fashions at home. I know it's a little foggy, but we can still go to the public gardens if you like..."

Nobuyoshi ignores the man and focuses on his sister.

"Of course, Yoritomo-san." Nobuyoshi offers. "I am not well versed in the language of flowers, but then from what I've seen in the distances, the blooms of this garden are not found within the empire."
