The big man cracks his neck, "Ya, but we ain't sufferin' from actions, we're sufferin' from inactions. Do we know what's comin' fer these folks? If so, let's go. If na, send out more scouts."

"I still don't see how it's our problem."

He shrugs, "If they are a'comin' like the Yojambin, it's good ta know what we're killin'."

"The great forest, burning sands, and the shadowlands are all still in the way. You think they can get through all that?"

He looks at Sugita with cautionary eyes, "Th' Unicorn did. Twice. As did th' Scorpion."

"The Scorpion only got through one of those things. As did the Unicorn, since they lived out there. It was a bad time for them. If they hadn't had Doji's Fan, they'd have easily been defeated."

[Hida Musasha]

The big man frowns. "My Clan has protected th' Empire fer generations from things that keep gettin' weirder 'n' uglier. I ain't assumin' nuthin'. Look where assumin' the Yojambin were disorganized tribes got th' empire."

"From what I heard, they were disorganized tribes when they attacked. But I think a certain Dark Oracle had a part to play there. From Rokugan."

He shrugs, "How do we know He (Fu Leng) isn't aiding these cultists?"

"There's no reason to think that. All this is being blown out of proportion."

He shrugs, "Serve a few tours o' duty on th' wall 'n' say that." He didn't seem to be challenging Sugita, mostly just telling it the way it is.

Shrug. "I doubt that'll happen."
