[Kakita Sugita]

"Righto. Good." Not really. Maybe. "It feels weird not having my old crew around. Yokina-san would be smacking the side of my head regularly." His smile turns wistful.

[Kaiu Seiko]

Seiko gave him a little more genuine smile this time.

"Give it time. Eventually someone on the Half Moon is going start hitting you upside the head whenever you do something you really shouldn't."

It just... won't be me.

[Kakita Sugita]

Sugita can't hear the thought bubbles, so he assumes she means herself. "Really? Let's see. If we aren't doing anything 'special', then why don't we do something ordinary and dirty. Like stir up a storm of our own just for fun?" He braces for impact even as he says it.

[Kaiu Seiko]

Seiko started. She felt herself blushing again.

Oh, no you don't!

"Our own storm?" she replied, turning and moving a little close in a menacing fashion. "You mean like this?"

With that, she leaned forward and kissed him.

[Kakita Sugita]

For once, Sugita is rendered speechless. That wasn't supposed to happen. Was she accepting the joke as real? Does Sugita have a problem with that? Is that what he wanted? Or is she going to kiss him whenever he does something he shouldn't? That is going to cause a lot of mixed messages, and won't help dissuade him at all. In another corner of his mind, he's going wild because where and when she decided to do this. Also, yes, that is what he meant.

Sugita's jaw drops afterward. No sound comes forth.

[Kaiu Seiko]

Seiko leaned back to look at the expression on Sugita's face. She had a kind of smug satisfaction herself.

"There," she said, settling back down where she had been before. "That's better."

Almost casually, she glanced over at the Kakita.

"Why Sugita-kun, I believe I might be the only one on-board who can manage to get you to shut up," she teased. "Moshi-sama would be pleased to know that. Should I tell her? Including how I managed that?"

Oh, that was definitely playing with fire...

[Kakita Sugita]

A quick breath for speech. Nothing. Pause. That last comment got his head hot. His eyes become a glare, while his jaw closes for a mischievous smirk. "How quiet do you want me to be and how long?" If that's how she wants to play...

[Kaiu Seiko]

Oh, so he wants to play THIS game!

Seiko's eyes narrowed playfully.

"Well, getting you to be quiet is part of the fun," she said.

Under the water, her hand snaked over towards him.

"But getting you to make noise is actually more fun," she teased.

With that, she gently caressed his thigh.

And all the fun is in watching your reaction.

[Kakita Sugita]

There is a quick flinch that Sugita manages to recover swiftly. There is a problem with making too much noise. He's going make that apparent with a change in tactic. Be extremely direct. "If I'm going to be making noise, you can be damn sure I'm going to get you to make more. So I think we best take this elsewhere. Someone could walk in here any second."

Seiko blinked.

She had meant to tease Sugita, get him to back down. That he responded... actually kind of shocked her.

Now she was torn.

Well, he had been direct.

"Gomen, Sugita-kun," she breathed. "I... may have overstepped myself."

She paused. If she confessed that she had been trying to tease him to get a reaction out of him, it would be taken most likely as an insult. A deep and personal one.

And truthfully, she wasn't sure now if she was only trying to tease him. The thought of taking it the next step...

She sighed. Out with it!

"I... I'm not opposed to the idea of taking this elsewhere." There! She said it! "That is... if you are sure."

Her heart was hammering as she realized she wasn't sure which way he would go.

There had been suspicion this might happen. Almost every time he tried to joke, he got a serious response. "I..." Was he sure? "Yeah. I'd like that." Half a lie. Maybe his determined look and nod could convince. He has to work on being romantic. "We are on leave right?" Missing the whole point. Or, intentionally ignoring it. She said nothing special. So... no problem then.

[Kaiu Seiko]

Well, he said it. And she said she was up for it. Sincerity was a virtue of bushido, after all.

It was just like she said, nothing special. Just... camaraderie between two shipmates.

She nodded. "We're on leave. Not on the ship."

Seiko didn't get up yet, in part because the entire situation was just starting to sink in. That, and she wanted Sugita to take the lead. She looked at him, urging him to do just that.

[Kakita Sugita]

"Let's go then," he whispers with a managed smile in his eyes. Sugita stands up and reaches for the woman's hand.

[Kaiu Seiko]

For a moment, Seiko just sat there, letting the experience sink in.

Then she smiled and extended her hand for Sugita to take.
