The sun rises upon a beautiful day with just a few clouds riding high in the clear blue sky. The unnatural fog has departed for the most part, though it lingers in the Temple district. It seems as if it will be a peaceful day until riders from the outposts enter the city at Mid-morning to report an army marching for the city. With unnatural speed, it reaches the walls by late afternoon and the citizenry are frozen with fear. The sun sets bloody on the scene, but even as it dips below the horizon, it is replaced by the fires of the enemy. An assault begins not soon after.

Announcements
Uminushi has the word quietly passed around that the fleet is leaving port an hour after midnight after moonset. All recruits are expected to return to the Half Moon by midnight and any stragglers will be left behind.
