Weather
Moon 19 - (9/14 - 9/15)

The Sun rises on a misty morning, cheerfully burning off the fog by mid-morning. It's hotter and muggier than the day before and there's little relief from the heat. The wind is fitful and comes in small puffs throughout the afternoon. Again, clouds gather around sunset and the heat is relieved with a short fall of rain. Tonight, the Moon hangs heavy and full behind the concealing folds of a spring mist that rises from the surface of the sea itself.

Events

At dawn the Half Moon and her sisters sail in to Sagara Harbor with the mists. A skiff is sent to find the harbormaster. A tense half hour passes before the skiff and its occupants return with a few escorts. The Rokugani ships are given permission to dock, the process of which involves several ropes, a few elephants, some rather large and complicated knots and muttering regarding tides.

The Captain calls a brief meeting to outline the crew's purpose in Lanka and the crew is given shore-leave. Anyone interested in the offer is taken to the embassy at mid-morning. From there, they are given the chance to roam the city with the instructions to return to the embassy by early evening for debriefings.

OOC: Feel free to start threads in the city after mid-morning.
